WordPress Adds Security Update

If you’re running WordPress for your blog or website, you might want to spend a few minutes and update it this weekend. In an announcement Saturday evening the WP group discussed the urgent release.

I’ve never written on the application WordPress before, which I should have by now. WordPress has to be one of the best blog apps out there. I’ve tried many of them and always have to give to the WP crew for making a top shelf application. It even works great for a Content Management System (CMS), but it’s use in that area is overlooked.

I’ve know companies that have spent thousands of dollars on custom programming for their CMS website and it still fell way short of what WordPress and the plug-ins for it have already made possible. If I was still working a one company I would not hesitate one minute to replace the current CMS with WordPress.

If you you’re a blogger or a small to medium publication, I would strongly a adding WordPress as your CMS backend.
