Lost in a Google Drift
I was on the Internet this evening, Googling things that were running through the dark reaches of my mind and before I knew it the night was wasted. Another causality of Google Drifting. Well not all was lost…
At Fox 5 in New York Lisa Murphy gave one of the best explanations of “Recession” I’ve read in a long time. I hope the country doesn’t hit the recession, but if does I will know what the true meaning of the word is.
Being raised in Big Orange Country I couldn’t see what was so out of the ordinary about another story on FOX 5 about New York Giants fan dyeing his dog blue, in East Tennessee nothing is off limits to paint orange. Before you go calling PETA on the fan you better be advised that the is Joe Gannascoli, the man who played Vito Spatafore on The Sopranos. He might stay in relive one of those famous Sopranos scenes on who ever rats on him.
Unless you have been under a rock this week you already knew that actor Health Ledger died an untimely death. Ready some the press on it told how he said playing the role the Joker on The Dark Knight movie was one toughtest challenges. I could understand Jack Nicholson pushed the limits when he played the ultimate D.C. Comics’ villain in the first Batman Movie. I watched the trailer the other day and what they had edited of him was powerful. I don’t know if the movie will be based on Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight which was a classic that will alway be a benchmark for comics or graphic novels.
Another item that bugs me late is the Writers’ Strike. I know they deserve to be paid for the new avenues their work is being pumped into, I just wish that Saturday Night Live would return with some new show.
