Tigers, Mad Cows and Glad I Had Fish for Supper
Fox Sports has a build up to the unbeaten Memphis 1 (so far) Vs. UT 2 match up that’s coming down the pike on Saturday. The hype is high and both teams have games that they can’t overlook before they square off.
Last year Coach Bruce Pearl painted himself orange with a “V” for a Lady Vols game and later Pat Summitt appeared in a cheerleader uniform with a Minnie Pearl hat to sing Rocky Top. Perhaps for this big battle with Memphis, Phil Fulmer could dress-up as Jed Clampett and UT Athletic Directory Mike Hamilton to wear the Smokey costume to take on the roll Jed’s dog “Duke” as the Vols head to Memphis hunting a win that’s valuable as an oil field.
I wrote about the beef recall last night after having just read the story and not seeing the video on television. I was glad that I had decided to have fish for supper tonight after watching the story on the news tonight. It does cause me to pause and think about the character Denny Crane on Boston Legal with him claim to have Mad Cow disease instead the early stages of Alzheimer’s.
