Some Folks Call It a Sling Blade, I Call It a Slingbox.

2008 May 9

Being away from home and wiring in a Slingbox, I was hoping I could watch Mark Martin and his Godaddy Chevy pull off another win in Darlington tonight with three laps to go he might have pulled it off. The gas situation caused him to bring out the caution. Condolences can be sent to Bob Parsons, I’d like see Godaddy’s racing program get a win in NASCAR they’re first year into it. Tony Stewart was able to grab his first stock win at the Darlington Speedway. Steven Wallace, son of Rusty Wallace, was able to get his second fifth place in a row – watch for this kid in the future.

I hate missing the Darlington race. The track is great and the area offers a lot of fun when you’re not at the track. Living in east Tennessee we’re spoiled by all the attention that Bristol Speedway get from NASCAR fans, but when you go to Darlington you’re right at Myrtle Beach. You can slow down in the low country and take an extra day or two to get back home. Maybe NASCAR will bring back the other race to Darlington soon.
