Apple Creates Thier Own Roadblocks to iPhone Apps Being Developed

Tom Yager points out one reason why Apple may have a hard time getting useful applications and utilities for the iPhone platform. Inside the the iPhone Software Development Kit agreement is a confidentiality agree that would prevent open source projects for the system, as well blogs, forums and websites.

If Apple is really true of heart and wants to see the iPhone find organic uses in everyday business and personal use they should reconsider this restriction. Newton anyone?
