A while back there was the cover story on Rolling Stone was “How Bush Destroyed the Republican Pary“.  After Nancy Pelosi’s barbs at the G.O.P. yesterday during  “The Great American Bail-Out” there might be a new story “How Pelosi Shot the Democratic Party in the Foot”.

There is no perfect way to handle the problems with our economic picture and it’s easy to throw blame everywhere, but it not the best way to try to repair the damage. Pelosi’s remarks were throwing salt in a bleeding wound. It might be a good idea for her to mend those damaged fences or step down as leader in the House.
