Move Along Folks. There’s Nothing to See Here.

The Vice Presidential debate went along better than I expected. I was looking for a train wreck, but there was jumps a couple rough rails.

Palin skills set for a debate was good. She only answered the questions she wanted and delivered off topics on the questions she didn’t want to answer. She played to the camera instead of the moderator and live audience.

Biden didn’t work the camera he went for the crowd he could see and appears to have been more authentic with his answers. He was able to challenge with authority McCain’s voting and platform stand.  Senator Biden should have went a little harder on Palin, but there was fine, unseen line that could have made him the villain.

I really would have liked to see another VP debate. Palin has been kept from the “mainstream” media and tonight was the first real time we’ve seen her answer serious questions. More direct questioning on the hard issues she the only thing that can make me feel comfortable about the McCain/Palin team.

If I had to score tonight I’d give a 52 to 48 in favor of Biden.

One Item Not Related to Debate

If the economy has got you looking for bargains anywhere you can and who hasn’t these days. If you live in the Knoxville, TN. are you’ll want to check out this website I’m adding the finishing touches on. The website KnoxVillain.com will be digging through all the Ebay listing to find items that are placed on auction from sellers in Big Orange Country. Everyday thousands of items are sold at prices that are steals and it’s a shame to let them leave the area. Hopefully people will use the site to find these bargains and stretch their budget out. The second goal this of this website to become something of an economic engine on the local level, that will help keep dollars from east Tennessee spent and stay in the area a little bit longer.
