Oh Daddy

2008 October 10

This site and few other were offline for about three hours tonight. Ouch! I was glad that tech support at Godaddy were able to find the problem and correct the problem without the incident spilling over several hours or through the weekend.  At first I thought my site was offline because Bob Parson was on vacation. He’s back has a video of the a wild plane ride, that reminded me an experience I had in a Cessna on grass airstrip in the ’80s.

Looking back at Bob and Godaddy, he his probably thanking his lucky stars that he stopped the company from going public with the wild ride the stock market has been on. Looking at the market today, a share of General Motors is cheaper than registering a internet domain. Investing in domain name might be the safest investment a person could make in the short market.

My current domain registration expires in 60 days. How do I register with you in 60 days? But before I do, how much is it?

    Many thanks,
    Margaret Blair
