From Bad Voodoo Comes the Joo Joo

Anyone familiar with the mobile computer space has heard about the CrunchPad which was declared dead a little over a week ago.  Now the pad is still alive according to Fusion Garage. The company has a website to sign-up for updates that should be coming later this week.

It will hard to say if the very public battle over the ownership of the intellectual property of the CrunchPad Joo Joo will hurt sales of the units. Also even if the pad had been released as the CrunchPad if the pad could have over took the netbook in popularity.  My concern would be how would Fusion Garage treat their customers. After seeing the treatment Fusion Garage gave their one-time development partners is any indication, customers might be left hanging should the untested device malfunction.
